The alchemy of the Spring Equinox
The Spring Equinox is a sacred magical and alchemical portal marking the gateway to the magnetic radiance of the increasing light, and the time of promised abundance and joy. Within contemporary witchcraft, it is seen as the second solar festival, an auspicious time for prayers, meditation, ritual and ceremonial work, in order to attract the blessings for the year.
Full Moon Gathering on Tuesday
The next Full Moon Gatherings will be taking place on Tuesday, 17 September 2024 at Largs Bay. You are inviting to join likeminded souls as we connect with Lady Lunar.
Coping with the Super Full moon lunar eclipse
We have a full moon and partial lunar eclipse taking place on 18 September here in Adelaide at 12.04pm (or on Tuesday, 17 September depending where you reside in the world) and it will be at 25° 40’ in the astrological sign of Pisces. It will be a super moon, meaning that the moon will be closer to the earth as well as being in conjunction to Neptune RX in Pisces.
Once Upon a Witch’s Moon
The changing phases of the moon remind us of the cyclic nature of all things within our cosmos. It is connected with dreams, intuition, emotions, and the unconscious mind. Many (not all) cultures referred to the moon as feminine, reflecting the light of the more masculine sun, and in doing so, offering up a source of light amongst the darkness.
In this interactive workshop, discover how witches tap into the different phases of the moon in order to influence their spells and bring more lunar magic into their lives.
Preparing for the Solstice
The word "solstice" is derived from the Latin sol ("sun") and sistere ("to stand still"), referring to the three days when the sun appears to pause in its journey, before it tilts the opposite way. For those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, we will be reaching that time of the darkest night before the sun is "reborn". For those in the Northern Hemisphere, you will be reaching the time of the longest day before the shades of winter gradually begins to encroach.
Entering the Samhain Tide
Autumn has arrived in the Southern Hemisphere and with it, the Samhain tide, the time of the ancestors.
